Martin Scott

Martin Scott is the Founder of Improtech and one of just over 200 UEFA Pro Licence Holders in the UK, meaning he is able to coach up to Premier League standard.

Before founding Improtech, Martin has a particularly impressive career history with more than 350 appearances in Football League and Premier League. He began playing professionally at Rotherham United in 1986, before moving on to Bristol City FC in 1991 and finally, Sunderland AFC in 1994.

Since then, Martin has gained managerial experience at Middlesbrough Football Club Reserve and U18 Team Manager, Hartlepool United Football Club as the Football Club Manager and reserve and Youth Team Coach and as Football Club Assistant Manager at Bury Football Club.

Martin’s passion for football led him to setting up Improtech, with one goal in mind; to encouraging and enable dedicated players to progress towards professional contracts with first class training.

Other qualifications include: FA Youth Coaches Award, FA First Aid 2010, FA Witness Qualification, FA Individual Coaching Award, Diploma in Treatment and Management of Injuries, LMA Management Course.
