Breaking records for Fair Trade

News from Sunderland College

Students that took part in the Fair Trade Bunting for Justice campaign have helped break a world record.

As part of Fair Trade week 2011, students from all our centres came together to make bunting for Fair Trade’s world record breaking attempt.

Their creation fed in to the 3427.94 metres of handmade cotton bunting created around the country which has now been official confirmed by Gunness World Records as the longest piece of handmade bunting in the world!
