Sunderland College has announced that Principal Angela O’Donoghue is to leave at the end of the academic year.
Angela will take up the principalship of another college in the South – leaving the college after six years at the helm.
She has enjoyed her time in Sunderland immensely both in personal terms and in the success of the college under her leadership.
“I am leaving the college in great financial shape and at a time when the quality of courses on offer, teaching, learning, student experience and results are a fantastic endorsement of Sunderland and its young people.
“We will be recruiting in the next few weeks to find my replacement and the board fully expects to attract a really good field of candidates to take the college into the future.”
