Sunderland College is seeking to appoint an Estates Team Leader to join a small team in the estates and facilities department operating across all College campuses.
Responsibilities will include the day to day supervision of estates staff, planning resource rotas, allocation of tasks, grounds maintenance, waste management, minor repairs, security, cleaning services and assisting with large deliveries and office moves. The position will have responsibility for opening and closing buildings and dealing with any emergencies where basic maintenance skills would be required.
Applicants will be: capable of developing an estates team in line with the business direction; flexible in their approach to the working week as weekend working maybe required; familiar with the legislation required to operate an estates team; understand the basic principles behind HVAC and BMS systems; possess competent IT skills and be independently mobile throughout the Northeast region.
