Sunderland College is a world-class provider of education, with four campuses located across the city offering one of the region’s largest range of school leaver and adult courses. We are not only expanding into our brand new City Campus we are also growing our current commercial offering to provide a more rounded experience for students and customers. We are now part of the Francesco Group, one of the 5th biggest and most successful hairdressing groups in the UK and new to the curriculum area in 2016. New to the curriculum area will be the addition of a fantastic new Spa facility.
We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Hairdressing /Barbering Manager to work within the existing Salon Professionals team. The job will involve working permanently in our City Campus salons, providing a high quality service to clients and supporting learners to achieve their potential.
Successful applicants should have extensive knowledge and demonstrable experience of successfully working within the Hairdressing/Barbering industry and be able to drive the business forward meeting and exceeding agreed income targets and levels of service.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant experience in their personal statement, giving practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
The successful applicant will need to be willing to work in a fully commercial capacity, operating over six days and 50 weeks a year. They will be driven and keen to succeed with a growing commercially focused team whilst assisting and effectively contributing to the successful development of learners.
Due to the nature of this post, the successful applicant will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
