Overview

Sunderland College is seeking to appoint an experienced Health, Safety & Environmental Manager to work across multiple sites. The successful applicant will be NEBOSH qualified and will be responsible for ensuring that Sunderland College’s Health & Safety policy is implemented, maintained and improved.

You will work closely with both support and curriculum areas being proactive in terms of legislation, regulations and any changes that may affect the business. You will support managers to maintain safe systems, providing advice and guidance whilst undertaking regular inspections to ensure the College’s Health and Safety systems remain robust and fit for purpose. You will also develop Health and Safety training courses, delivering to both internal staff and external customers when required.
