Overview

We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Lecturer within the Catering and Hospitality team at the college. The appointment offers the opportunity to be part of an established, highly motivated and dedicated curriculum team.

The majority of work will involve catering and hospitality courses at all levels and will take place predominantly at our Hylton Campus before moving to our brand new City Centre Campus which is scheduled to open in 2016. The Lecturer will cover all levels, both front and back of house but predominantly Professional Cookery to a high and industry relevant standard.

The successful applicant will hold relevant vocational qualifications in Professional Cookery or Catering and Hospitality, an Assessor’s award and they should also either possess a Teaching Qualification or be working towards one.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate, in their personal statement, practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
