An opportunity has arisen for a passionate, suitably experienced dental professional to teach within our thriving Sport, Health and Well-being Faculty. We are seeking to further strengthen our team with an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced specialist to ensure our learners are highly qualified and possess the right skills and knowledge necessary for success within the Dental profession or Health sector.
Successful applicants will be outstanding dental nursing practitioners, who are GDC registered with relevant vocational competence. Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience of curriculum development, innovative teaching, learning and assessment practices and effective standardisation and verification to ensure positive outcomes for learners. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner in the field of Dental Nursing and capable of delivering high quality teaching sessions, that enthuses and inspires learners to achieve the best possible outcomes and prepares them for a career within the dental profession.
Applicants will have an appropriate Dental qualification and experience of teaching and leading dental or health provision, as well as possessing relevant industry experience. Ideally you will have a proven track record within education, and must hold a teaching and assessing qualification. You will have first rate communication and organisational skills as well as experience of working in a team, as a commitment to teamwork is vital.
This is an area of growth and therefore this post offers the successful applicant the opportunity to be a part of a creative, successful team and play a key role in influencing the quality and development of the dental provision. Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant experience in their personal statement, giving practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
