A rare opportunity has arisen for an ambitious professional to join the new Faculty of Digital, Creative and Business at Sunderland College.

We are seeking to strengthen the Business team with an experienced and highly motivated specialist, who will be at the heart of guaranteeing outstanding achievement, developing creative teaching strategies and practices and ensuring positive outcomes for the Business students.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher, with vocational competence in the Business sector. Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience of curriculum development, innovative teaching and learning techniques and effective standardisation and verification to ensure positive outcomes for learners.

You will have a Degree in Business or a related subject and experience of teaching Higher Education provision. Ideally you will have a proven track record within education and will hold or be working towards a teaching qualification.

The post offers the successful applicant the opportunity to be a part of a creative and successful team and play a key role in influencing the quality of Higher Education provision within Business. Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant experience in their personal statement, giving practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
