An opportunity has arisen for a passionate, suitably experienced professional to teach within our thriving Sport, Health and Well-being Faculty. We are seeking to further strengthen our team with an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced specialist to ensure our learners are highly qualified and possess the right skills and knowledge necessary for success within Health and Social Care sector.
Successful applicants will be outstanding practitioners, with relevant vocational competence in an area of Health and Social Care. Applicants must be able to demonstrate experience of curriculum development, innovative teaching, learning and assessment practices and effective standardisation and verification to ensure positive outcomes for learners. You will be an outstanding classroom practitioner in the field of Health and Social Care and capable of delivering high quality teaching sessions, that enthuses and inspires learners to achieve the best possible outcomes and prepares them for a career in Health and Social Care.
Applicants will have a Degree in Health and Social Care, or a related subject, and experience of teaching and leading Higher Education provision, as well as possessing relevant industry experience. Ideally you will have a proven track record within education, and must hold or be working towards a teaching qualification.
This post offers the successful applicant the opportunity to be a part of a creative, successful team and play a key role in influencing the quality of higher education provision within Health and Social Care. Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant experience in their personal statement, giving practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
