We are looking for a hard-working and collaborative person who can join our team and help challenge our students to progress and achieve. You will be working with learners on the Foundation Learning Programme and related partner provision.
You will be a confident and committed Speech and Language Therapist, able to work in a person-centred way to enable learners to progress on course, achieve their qualifications and work towards independence. The young people that you will work with will be aged between 16-24 and have complex and challenging needs with levels ranging from Pre Entry to Level 1 .The core aim of the team is to work with and support learners to progress through the development of their communication, interaction, employability social and emotional development needs.
To be successful you will be educated to degree level in speech and language therapy and a registered member of RCSLT. You will have had relevant experience of supporting learners with specific learning difficulties/learning disabilities and ASD, this will include the use of Lego Therapy and SCERTS Therapy.
You will have excellent communication skills and be able to work with the teaching and support staff and the wider multi-disciplinary team in supporting speech and language development.
