Overview

The Construction Department is looking to expand its Apprenticeship and full cost delivery offer, and we are looking for suitably qualified personnel to join the college and support us with the delivery of both in house training and Apprenticeships.

You will need to be qualified to level 3 in your occupational area and have current, up to date electrical qualifications to NVQ Level 3, (2330 or similar) Inspection & Testing L3 and 17th edition.

We would welcome applications from occupationally competent staff that possess an appropriate assessor qualification (we would require successful candidate to gain teaching qualifications within two years of employment) as well as having a proven track record of relevant vocational experience including either work based practice or teaching.

Applicants for this post should have drive, enthusiasm, possess good interpersonal/ organisational skills and be able to demonstrate commitment to working within a team. Applicants must be mobile throughout the northeast region as this role will include travelling to employer premises.

Applicants for this post should be able to demonstrate in their personal statement practical examples of how you fulfil the person specification.
