Applicants for this post should have passion, enthusiasm and possess good interpersonal and organisation skills. You should have experience of working in a team. Applicants must be mobile through the northeast region as this role may involve travelling to employer premises.

The assessor role initially will cover intermediate & advanced level but may also be required for involvement in Higher Apprenticeships in the future. The successful applicant will possess relevant qualifications, a teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards this) and an assessors award. It would also be preferable if the candidate holds a verifiers award although this is not essential.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate, in their personal statement, practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
