Sunderland College has an exciting opportunity for a well organised and motivated individual. We are seeking a Work Based Learning Manager to support the Director of Apprenticeships & Commercial Development in the operational management of the College’s Apprenticeship activity.

This fixed term post will lead on programmes of work to further improve and maintain quality in Apprenticeships, and deliver elements of the College’s transition programme to ensure the organisation is well placed to respond to the Government’s Apprenticeship Reforms including the introduction of the Levy.

As a key member of the Apprenticeships & Work Based Delivery Team, the successful candidate will be required to liaise with key internal stakeholders, both within and outside of the immediate team, and with external bodies such as awarding organisations. They will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to relate to, and influence, staff at all levels. Experience of working within Apprenticeships or work-based learning in a College and/or private training provider setting is essential.

Applicants should be able to demonstrate relevant experience in their personal statement, giving practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
