Job Description

Essential Care & Support Ltd provides a comprehensive range of personal and practical care services to assist people to continue living in their own homes. Duties will include:

  • Supporting vulnerable adults with a variety of duties, and in doing so respect the person’s dignity, privacy and independence.
  • Assisting people who use our services with personal care needs and helping them to maintain and achieve maximum independence.

Providing care and support to people with complex and challenging behaviour in shared accommodation or in their

To develop skills and knowledge to provide care and support to vulnerable adults who require high levels of support; to meet a range of complex needs, in various settings within the community.

To assist and support with person-centred care and support to individuals to ensure they live how they choose

Provide appropriate personal care when required

Work as part of a support team, within a multi-agency framework to ensure that the aims and objectives of the service are met.

To work with the team to provide practical, emotional and flexible care and support geared to the needs and goals identified with the Support Plan.

Alongside the Senior Practitioners contribute to support needs assessments and the production of Individual Support Plans within organisational timescales

Work flexibly on a rota, including weekends, bank holidays.
