Who is this course for?

This course is for those interested in studying Tourism and/or Hospitality and want to progress to study on a higher education programme.

What do you need to apply for the course?

You must be aged 19 or over at the start of the programme and either hold a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths or complete our Test the City Numeracy and

Literacy programmes. It is desirable, but not essential to hold a Level 2 qualification in Travel and Tourism or Hospitality or have relevant work experience.

What are the key things you'll learn?

During this course you will develop knowledge and understanding of the tourism industry and of hospitality operations. You will also study subjects such as Marketing, Event Organisation and Customer Service. You will also develop study and research skills.

How you will learn

On this course you will experience a combination of teaching and learning styles including classroom lectures, workshop/study sessions, directed work with other students, directed private study. You may also have the opportunity to practice and develop skills and experience outside of the classroom environment. After successfully completing this course you could progress onto a HND or a degree course with the College or at university.
