Who is this course for?
The course aims to develop learners skills in to the four major genres of creative writing including poetry, fiction, play writing and non-fiction, plus additional forms depending on students’ interests, through a range of interactive tasks and activities where learners can continue to develop the key processes involved in writing creatively.
What do you need to apply for the course?
You must be 19+ at the start of the academic year (1st Sept).
What are the key things you'll learn?
- Expand abilities to write creatively and expressively
- Practise the behaviours of creative writers
- Develop knowledge of creative writing and appropriate vocabulary for discussing creative writing
- Listen effectively in a variety of situations for a variety of purposes

Weekly, classroom taught sessions. There is no formal assessment – this is a leisure course only.
