Who is this course for?
If you are progressing from a HNC in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and wish to develop a range of skills and techniques, personal qualities and attributes essential for successful performance in working life. Then this course could be for you, as it will enable you to make an immediate contribution to employment at the appropriate professional level with a range of technical and management skills needed for careers in engineering.

The course leader will review your profile of qualifications and/or experience held, considering whether this profile shows an ability to progress to a Level 5 qualification. For learners who have recently been in education, the entry profile is likely to include one of the following:
- a BTEC HNC Electrical and Electronic Engineering, or equivalent
- related work experience
Mature learners may present a more varied profile of achievement that is likely to include extensive work experience (paid and/or unpaid) and/or achievement of a range of professional qualifications in their work sector.

Assessment methods could include written assignments, coursework, practical assessment or combination.

This course enables progression to or counts towards an undergraduate degree or further professional qualification in electrical and/or electronic engineering or related area.
What costs will you incur?
2017 Tuition fee: £2,300 per year
Other course costs: Printing for your course – you will receive £30 credit for printing which will be paid in
three instalments of £10 per term. Any printing requirements in excess of this can be purchased.
You may choose to purchase books from the recommended reading lists however the College Learning Centre have an excellent range of all books suggested within your units studied.
You will be expected to provide your own pens, paper and folders.
