The Faculty of Digital, Creative & Business is seeking to appoint a creative, enthusiastic and highly motivated professional, with specific expertise in computing. The ideal candidate will be qualified to degree level or higher, preferably have experience within the computing sector and can also demonstrate the ability to lead innovative teaching, learning and assessment across a large team of staff .The successful applicant will be at the heart of guaranteeing outstanding achievement, lead with creative teaching strategies and practices and ensure positive outcomes for all of our students.
You will support the Director of Faculty and work alongside the existing Curriculum Leaders, in driving forward a successful computing curriculum area, developing and maintaining relationships with partners in the Digital & Creative Industries and taking an active role in curriculum development and the marketing and promotion of the Digital / Computing provision.
The successful candidate will be joining the College at an exciting time, as the Digital provision is redeveloped to serve the demands of the Industry. The Arts Academy at Bede Campus, which opened in September 2014, has placed us at the leading-edge of technology and enabled the delivery of a high quality curriculum, in state of the art facilities.
