Reporting to the Director of Facilities Management, the newly created position will assume responsibility for the catering outlets across the Sunderland College Group. This will include the outlets located at our Sunderland, Washington and Hartlepool sites.
With previous experience of operating teams, you should possess excellent management skills with an ability to identify opportunities for improvement and team building. Passionate about customer service and capable of making your mark on the service delivered you will continually strive to improve standards through customer satisfaction and staff/student engagement.
You will have experience of working closely with suppliers and contractors and understand the importance of continuity, value for money, quality and the demands with each of the College centres.
Proactive and innovate at menu planning you will be familiar with food trends including those focussed on food nutrition and healthy eating. You will have a sound understanding of relevant health and safety legislation and be familiar with HACCP and COSHH, understanding the impact of each upon the operation.
