The College Learning Centres provide high quality curriculum support to students with state of the art IT and study facilities.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our team providing library and IT support at one of our very busy sites. This post includes participation in the full-range of library activities, including the provision of help, information and referral services in Learning Centres in person, by telephone and e-mail, inductions for new learners and staff and supporting users in accessing all resources available including IT, the College VLE, e-resources, books, multi-media and so on.

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and possess a minimum of 4 GCSE’s at grade C or above (must include English Language and Maths), good IT, Information and Research and Communication skills, be a team player and have some experience of working in a customer service position. A library, IT or customer care qualification is desirable.

Due to the nature of this post you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
