The College Learning Centres provide high quality curriculum support to students with state of the art IT and study facilities.
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team providing library and IT support at one of our very busy sites. This post includes participation in the full-range of library activities, including the provision of help, information and referral services in Learning Centres in person, by telephone and e-mail, inductions for new learners and staff and supporting users in accessing all resources available including IT, the College VLE, e-resources, books, multi-media and so on.
The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills and possess a minimum of 4 GCSE’s at grade C or above (must include English Language and Maths), good IT, Information and Research and Communication skills, be a team player and have a minimum of 1 year’s experience of working in a customer service position. An information technology qualification or City and Guilds Library and Information Assistant’s Certificate is desirable.
