The Department of Health and Education is growing and we are looking for a suitably qualified Dental Nursing Lecturer to join us to deliver Dental Nursing qualifications on site and to the wider community, while also helping to ensure the correct level of quality, data and support. The successful candidate will deliver, assess and carry out regular reviews to enable learners to complete their Dental Nursing Level 3 Diploma.

Duties will also include supporting recruitment to programme and marketing of Dental programmes. You will require good communication, organisational, IT and administration skills and a Dental Nursing qualification with General Dental Council registration.
We would welcome applications from occupationally competent staff that have a proven record and experience of supporting qualifications in Dental nursing. The successful applicant will possess or be working towards appropriate teaching/assessing qualifications as well as accomplishment of relevant vocational experience including work-based practice or assessing. However, we are willing to support the successful applicant with training and qualifications.

Successful applicants may also have skills and experience to develop this role to include practice management and may have the potential to extend to full-time as the provision expands.
Applicants for this post should have drive and enthusiasm and possess good interpersonal and organisational skills. You should have experience of working in a team, as a commitment to teamwork is vital. Applicants must be mobile throughout the northeast region as this role may include travelling to employer premises.
