An opportunity has arisen for a 0.9 FTE lecturer 1 (fixed term) position within the Employability and Community provision, Faculty of Sport, Health and Well Being.  The post offers the opportunity to play a key role in driving forward the quality of pre-employment provision as part of a successful team who engage unemployed learners in a variety of settings to support achievement and encourage progression into work or onto further education.

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding classroom practitioner who can demonstrate curriculum development, innovative teaching, learning and assessment practices and effective standardisation and verification to ensure positive outcomes for learners and to work closely with other lecturing staff across the team.

The successful applicant will be supportive, with excellent interpersonal skills and classroom management strategies.  You will have experience in developing resources and delivering to a minimum of level 2 qualification and possess a teaching qualification or be working towards one.

For this post applicants should be able to demonstrate in their personal statement practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.
