We have an exciting opportunity to join our Quality, Teaching and Learning team as a Quality Co-ordinator.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the effective recording and tracking of learner progress and monitoring team performance, contributing to high levels of success across the College, within Education and Training and Apprenticeship provision. They will be expected to implement high quality improvement processes across curriculum teams and provide expert advice to support an outstanding learner experience and maximise learner outcomes. In addition, they will work with relevant staff to ensure active participation in all quality assurance and improvement processes and ensure the College’s provision is inspection ready at all times.
Being experienced in the quality assurance of Education and Training programmes, the use of on line tracking tools / electronic portfolios and accurate data analysis are essential, as are a level 4 or equivalent HE qualification, a recognised teaching qualification, and GCSE maths and English grade C qualifications. It is also preferable that the candidate will be a qualified and experienced teacher/assessor and internal quality assurer.
You must be a highly committed and motivated individual, able to actively build relationships, with a positive and flexible ‘can do’ outlook. You should be a starter-finisher, and able to work under pressure to meet agreed targets. You will have strong analytical, IT, written and verbal communication skills. In addition, you will also be highly organised and be a good team player.
Our Quality Coordinators need to be independently mobile throughout the North East.
