Post Ref: 6202. Full Time, 37 hours per week. Permanent. £19,155.71 to £21,458.51 per annum

As part of Education Partnership North East (EPNE), Northumberland College is undergoing significant investment to provide an excellent learning environment for students and apprentices.

An opportunity has arisen for a Resource Technician based at Ashington campus who will support the training workshops across Engineering, Automotive & Construction.  This post is key to the successful operation of the practical element of curriculum with a focus upon efficiency and effectiveness.

If you have knowledge and experience of the operational function of workshops in at least one of the sectors of Engineering, Automotive or Construction then this could be an ideal opportunity to support the practical training environments used by our staff, students and apprentices. Applicants should be able to demonstrate, in their personal statement, practical examples of how they fulfil the person specification.

A flexible, proactive approach is required as this role includes responsibility regarding the successful operation of workshops with health & safety being a priority.

Due to the nature of this post you will be required to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure Check.
