Overview
As PR and Communications Officer you will play a pivotal role in managing the Group’s internal communications channels as well as coordinating external PR activity. Through your creativity and expertise, you will support the Group and subsidiaries to deliver engaging, timely and relevant communications to both internal and external audiences.
You’re passionate and enthusiastic, with a proven track record of planning and delivering PR and communications campaigns using a range of channels and tactics. You will have the ability to research messages from a variety of different sources and align this to the college’s strategic objectives and brand positioning.
Due to the nature of the post, it is imperative that you have excellent writing skills, in particular the ability to understand complex issues and turn them into clear and engaging content for on and offline platforms.
You will be comfortable advising and supporting internal stakeholders. Good planning and project management skills are essential, coupled with the ability to problem solve effectively. This is an exciting time to join the college, and the role will be key in helping to shape and deliver our communications and PR activities.
