Who is this course for?

This course is for adults who are over the age of 19 and who wish to progress to Higher Education in Social Work.

What do you need to apply for the course?

You’ll need to have an interest in working in Social Work and any of the following:

  • 4 GCSE’S at C or above
  • Any full level 2 or Test the City Maths and English level 2 plus a strong profile

What are the key things you'll learn?

Graded Units, level 3, 9 credits :  Psychology, Sociology,  Psychology, Social Policy and Welfare, Values and Practice in Care and Development , Professional Practice = 45 credits@ level 3

Ungraded units : Higher Maths- level 3 ,3 credits, Study Skills -Level 2, 6 credits, English Writing Skills- level 2, 3 credits, English Comprehension, level 2, 3 credits  = 15 credits

Where could this course take you?

After the completion of this course you can progress to Higher Education. This could be a HNC, HND or Degree in the area of Social Work.

What costs will you incur?

£3,000.00 DAYS £2,750.00 evenings

Tuition fees for the Access Diploma are written off when students complete their HE course. Fees will be incurred if students leave Access or University before they have completed.
