Who is this course for?
This course is for people working in the motor vehicle industry painting vehicles or those wishing to gain qualifications to enhance their current job role.
What do you need to apply for the course?
The course is the third level for vehicle painting you will need the Level 2, and basic literacy skills.
What are the key things you'll learn?
You will learn the correct procedures for applying base, top and clear coats mixing and matching techniques and special effect finishing.
How you will learn
You will learn the theory of paint operations in the classroom and work on vehicles in the paint shop. You will be assessed through coursework and will take an online test.
Where could this course take you?
This course allows you to progress into industry as qualified in Accident Repair Paint Principals.
What costs will you incur?
If you are aged between 19 and 23 years old (on the first day of your course) and do not already have a full Level 3 of higher qualification, you will not have to pay course fees. This may be different for learners studying on a course in the workplace.
If you are aged 19 or over, on the first day of your course, studying at Level 3 or above, you are able to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the costs of your course, similar to arrangements for higher education students.
