This course is ideally suited to people would like to achieve a formal qualification in maths and wish to improve their knowledge and understanding of the subject.
Anyone 19+ looking to improve their maths skills and gain a qualification.
Although there are no formal entry requirements, you will need to pass an initial assessment at Entry Level 3. You will also benefit from having basic keyboard and mouse skills.

You will receive 2-3 hours of guided learning and at least 2 hours of self-study/homework is expected per week.
This course covers the key areas of maths including:
- Addition and subtraction
- Working with percentages
- Calculating area and volume
- Working with metric units
- Multiplication and division
- Handling data
- Fraction and decimals
- Shapes
