Esports is a fast-growing industry where professional teams face off against each other in competitive video games.
With this area expanding so much there is many opportunities within Esports that our course can train you for.
This exciting new level 2 Esports course helps you gain all the skills needed to work within this area or progress to further study. Throughout this course you will learn how to coach and manage a team, plan and run events and also brand and advertise a team.
You will also get the opportunity to work with Sunderland College’s multi-championship winning teams, the Seers, within the British Esports Championships.
The course has been developed in collaboration with employers to ensure that the skills and knowledge being assessed are current and relevant with industry practices. The lessons will consist of lectures, hands on practical, group work, presentations and demonstrations.
You will need 2 GCSE's at grade 3-9.

The course is assessed using assignments set and marked internally by tutors. They are designed to allow students to apply knowledge that they have gained from each unit into each assessment using a variety of methods such as reports, demonstrations, presentations, etc.
There will be a requirement to study English and Maths to achieve grade 4.
