What’s it all about?

This Intermediate course is a progression from the Level 3 Foundation course. Learners should therefore be familiar with academic writing and be able to build on that, expanding their wider reading, and writing critically. On completion of the course, the learners will be awarded Associate Membership of the CIPD.

You must have meet one of the following criteria to enrol onto this course:

- Have a CIPD Level 3 qualification
- Have a relevant business degree
- Be a senior HR/People leader with considerable experience

You will be taught using a range of teaching techniques including:

- Lecturers and workshops
- Assignments

English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career.

If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.

If English is not your first language, you must demonstrate a high standard of both spoken and written English to register onto a CIPD programme.

We have a number of links to industry to ensure you gain an outstanding learning experience with us and are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to progress to a career in industry.

You will study 4 hours a week in college and will be expected to take considerable time outside of college to read, research and prepare for class.

This course will take place on a Tuesday evening (5-9pm).A day class may be an option - please enquire for more information.

The aim of the course is to develop the skills and knowledge of Human Resources to allow you to progress your career at a business partner level.

This is a really interesting course with a mix of academic and practical industry learning, led by a course tutor with considerable and up to date HR experience.

What’s next?

You could progress straight into industry and gain a job at Business Partner level.

You could also progress to university to study a Level 7 post-graduate qualification.
