This is an introductory level course that aims to introduce ‘beginners’ to the basic principles of floristry to enable students to develop their skills and knowledge over the course to achieve a Level One Qualification from the NCFE. The course will introduce you to the basic elements and principles of design in floristry.
There are no formal entry requirements but a keen interest in floristry and floral design is an advantage.

You will cover a mixture of theory and practical activities and you will collate evidence throughout the course of the practical skills and knowledge you are gaining to be used to build a portfolio for the course.
Following successful completion of the course, progression options include NCFE Level 2 Certificate in Creative Craft (Floristry)
