What’s it all about?

Further explore the main principles of electrical and electronic engineering to progress your career in this specialist sector. Engineering needs creative people who can solve problems and use speciailist skills to find solutions. This qualification will help you to further develop your skills and personal qualitities in specialist areas such as electronic design, power engineering, manufacture and maintenance.

The entry requirements for this particular qualification are a HNC Electrical and Electronic Engineering as this is a top up programme designed as a progression route on a part time basis. The college does offer a full time HND programme for those looking to complete a full HND.

19+ please enquire As part of the programme you will be expected to provide your own stationery i.e. paper, pens, pencils and a scientific calculator. Each programme will have its own designated reading list which you may purchase should you desire to do so, this is not mandatory as the college library holds stock of all required reading material.

You will be taught via class lectures, online sessions and through group activities. Assessment methods used include written assignments, practical experiments, project work and presentations with vocationally related scenarios linked to industry.

We continue to develop strong links with local employers such as Marelli, Envision, Grundfos and many more local employers. These strong relationships ensure that the college offers a relevant and structured curriculum.
