This course is for anyone aged 16-19 who would like to develop their knowledge, skills and behaviours in Sport and Public Services and then progress to a Level 2 course, apprenticeship or job role in the sport and leisure sector.
There are no required qualifications for this course, however you will need to be willing to participate in new subject areas and be considerate towards others in the group.
You will work through a number of portfolio based assignments that may be assessed through observations, presentations, photographs and completion of activities. Lessons will be a combination of classroom and practical.
English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
