This course has been developed for you to achieve a Level 2 qualification to meet the entry requirements for an Access to HE qualification. It also allows you to achieve the research and academic skills needed for a Level 3 course.

On this course, you will experience a combination of teaching, such as classroom lectures, study sessions, directed work with fellow students and independent study. This will allow you to produce different forms of assessment, such as, workbooks, essays, presentations and reports.
Along side your Progression Award qualification, you are required to complete l#Level 2 Maths and English if you do not already have these qualifications.

Successfully completing the course gives you an opportunity to progress onto the QAA Level 3 approved access course, which is designed to prepare you for university. This will allow you to study the different branches of nursing, social work, teaching, law, criminology, health sciences and counselling.
You also have the opportunity to progress to other Level 3 courses.
