T Level in Engineering, Manufacturing, Processing and Control

You will need 5 GCSE's at grade 5-9 including Maths, English Language and Science.

Teaching will include classroom, workshop, project activities and a minimum of 45 days industry placement. In terms of assessment, students must complete the following: - Two externally set tests covering knowledge from the engineering maintenance core content - One employer set project covering knowledge and skills from engineering core - One practical assignment made up of a number of tasks covering the knowledge and skills from the chosen occupational specialisms.

You will require a good understanding of Math's and English and should achieve a minimum of grade 5 at GCSE including a Science.

You will complete a mandatory industry placement during your two years of study. The placement will be around 45 days where you will be given the opportunity work with an employer and develop career ready skills whilst you study.

The T Level qualification has been developed in collaboration with a number of leading organisations including Nissan, Siemens, Siemens Energy, National Grid, Alstom, The TWI, the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and the Royal Academy of Engineering.

We have excellent Industrial Links with NE Engineering organisations including Envision, Marelli, ZF, Haskel Europe, Grundfos, Unipres, Caterpillar and Thyssen Krupp.

Students will benefit from additional study programme hours for the T Level in Engineering, Manufacturing, Processing and Control with 680 hours of delivery. Content is delivered by our qualified teaching staff who posses extensive experience in the engineering and manufacturing sectors.
