Who is this course for?
This course is for students interested in developing a career in the exercise industry or who want to learn how to keep themselves fit and healthy. This course provides introductory information about lifestyle choices and the workings of the body during and after exercise.
What do you need to apply for the course?
If you have an interest in making yours or someone else’s live healthier then you have everything that you need to apply!
What are the key things you'll learn?
This course is made up a number of units of study including:
- Participate in physical activity in the fitness environment
- Exercise and fitness knowledge
- Exploring personal fitness
- Assist in the delivery of an exercise session
- Healthy Eating
These units will cover information about anatomy, physiology, fitness and lifestyle choices such as diet.
How you will learn
The course will be delivered at our new sports academy and take advantage of upgraded fitness suite and studio facilities. The practical parts of the course will develop your own fitness. The theory aspect of the course will be delivered using engaging teaching methods in our new state of the art classroom spaces.
Where could this course take you?
This qualification can give you the confidence to enrol to a Level 2 Fitness Instructors or Level 2 Promoting Community Health course in the future.
