Who is this course for?
This course if for people who want to start a career in the make-up industry.
What do you need to apply for the course?
No prior qualifications needed, however, you may be required to take a skills assessment at the start of the course.
What are the key things you'll learn?
This course will cover the following units:
- Working in Beauty Related Industries
- Follow Health and Safety in the salon
- Client Care and Communication
- Apply Make – up
- Provide Eyelash and Eyebrow treatments
How you will learn
You will learn through a variety of teaching methods.
This will include both practical and theory work in our modern training facilities.
Where could this course take you?
After successfully completing the course you could progress onto the Level 2 Technical Certificate in Media Make – up or the Level 2 Technical Certificate in Beauty Therapy.
What costs will you incur?
Course fees – £300.
Depending on your circumstances you may need to pay for the following:
- Registration fee Textbooks Workwear
- Kit Stationery Locker key
- Personal expenses during educational visits Certification Fee
If you have not yet achieved a full level 2 (i.e. 5 GCSE’s at C) this course may be free.
