Who is this course for?
This course is for people looking to make a career in the hospitality and catering industry.
What do you need to apply for the course?
You will need to have an interest in catering and related industries, Grade 4 in English Language and Maths at grade 4 is preferred, or a relevant Level 1 qualification.
You will also need to complete a practical skills assessment prior to starting the course.
What are the key things you'll learn?
During this course you will learn advanced cooking skills and techniques.
How you will learn
This course is taught using both theory and practical methods. You will also gain experience in our realistic working environments The Lounge Bistro and Bar, The Deli and The Brunch Box.
You will complete two large cookery based assessments at the end of the course.
Where could this course take you?
After successfully completing this course you could progress on to the Level 3 Chefs Diploma or learn on the job with an Apprenticeship
The course also prepares you for becoming a chef in the catering industry.
What costs will you incur?
There will be a cost for uniform of approximately £85 at the start of the course.
