Who is this course for?
Adults who are over 19 years who wish to progress to Higher Education in the following areas :-
Teaching, Educational Studies, Degrees in National Curriculum subjects.
What do you need to apply for the course?
You are able to apply for this course if you have any of the following:
- 4 GCSE’S at C or above
- Any full level 2 or
Test the City Maths and English level 2 plus a strong profile

- English
- Teaching and Learning
- Sociology
You will also study a range of core units.
How you will learn
On this course you will experience a combination of teaching and learning styles as follows:
- Classroom lectures
- Workshop/Study sessions

After the completion of this course you can progress to Higher Education .
What costs will you incur?
Full time – £3,000
Part time – £2,750
Some additional expense might be required for a memory stick and stationary.
If you are aged between 19 and 23 years old (on the first day of your course) and do not already have a full Level 3 of higher qualification, you will not have to pay course fees. This may be different for learners studying on a course in the workplace.
If you are aged 19 or over, on the first day of your course, studying at Level 3 or above, you are able to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to cover the costs of your course, similar to arrangements for higher education students.
