You will need a suitable Level 2 qualification in Gym Instructing or Fitness Instructing. The course requires physical exertion and individual participation is essential, therefore a degree of physical fitness is necessary. There is an element of communication (discussing, presenting, reading and writing) involved and learners should have basic skills in communication pitched at Level 2.

There is no formal placement element for this course.

We work closely with local gyms, personal trainers, and leisure centers to ensure your learning is aligned with real industry standards. These connections provide valuable insight into employer expectations and open doors for future opportunities.

The aim of this course is to develop confident, knowledgeable and professional personal trainers. You’ll build the skills to design, deliver, and evaluate bespoke fitness programs for a wide range of clients. By the end of the course, you'll be qualified and industry-ready to either work independently, join a gym, or launch your own personal training business.
