Over 110 guided learning hours, you'll explore the essentials of domestic retrofit—from understanding energy consumption and retrofit principles to mastering the PAS 2035 framework and honing your communication skills. You'll also gain insights into health and safety protocols and the broader implications of climate change and sustainability. Whether you're aiming to become a Retrofit Advisor or looking to enhance your role in housing, construction, or sustainability, this qualification equips you with the knowledge and confidence to guide homeowners through energy-saving improvements. With expert-led sessions and real-world case studies, you'll be well-prepared to contribute meaningfully to a greener future.

You must have experience working in the retrofit industry or a recognised retrofit qualification. Customer service experience is also desirable.

This course is made up of blended learning supported by tutor-led sessions, mentor support and our state of the art e-Learning platform.

All learners are assigned to one of the Retrofit Academy’s tutors/assessors, who will provide guidance and feedback on all your assessments. All tutors/assessors are experienced in the retrofit industry and hand-picked for their experience and expertise.

Level 3 Award in Domestic Retrofit Advice course lasts 4-5 days and is ideal for housing professionals becoming more heavily involved in retrofit projects.

What’s next?

On completion of this course, you could progress to the Award in Domestic Retrofit Assessment Level 4 course, or gain employment in the retrofit or construction sector.
