You will have an excellent experience and benefit from practical and theory lessons, which will prepare you for the beauty therapy industry on completion of this course.
During practical lessons, you will develop your skills in our state-of-the-art industry salons using professional products and equipment.
During theory lessons, you will develop your knowledge in our dedicated theory rooms by doing group work, research tasks, assignments and online exams.
During the course, lecturers will assess your knowledge and skills using a range of different ways to ensure you are making progress and if needed additional support is provided.
We have a number of links within the industry including with organisations such as Dermalogica, Sienna tanning, Steiner Cruise liners.
This course will take place across two days each week.
You will study in college and will also be expected to take some study time outside of the classroom to build your knowledge and skills in beauty therapy.
The course is based at City Campus and your timetable will be issued at the start of term when you come to enrol with us
The aim of the course is for learners to develop their skills and knowledge in Level 2 beauty therapy, including facial, manicure, pedicure, waxing, eye treatments, head massage and tanning treatments.

Our learners have the opportunity to be involved in regional and national skills competitions to showcase their talents.
On completion of this course, you could progress onto a Level 3 beauty with us.
