Esports is a fast-growing industry where professional teams face off against each other in competitive video games.
With this area expanding so much there is many opportunities within Esports that our course can train you for.
This exciting new level 3 Esports course helps you gain all the skills needed to work within this area or progress into university. Throughout this course you will learn how to coach and manage a team, plan and run events and also brand and advertise a team.
You will also get the opportunity to work with Sunderland Colleges multi-championship winning teams, the Seers, within the British Esports Championships.
This course requires 5 GCSE A* - C or 4-9.
This will be discussed at interview.

During this course students will be taught in a range of methods which will include theory lessons and practical lessons to be able to develop the skills which the digital industry requires.
In addition to this students will assessed in a range of methods which will include written assessments, practical assessments, presentations, demonstrations plus more.
By the end of this course students will have a portfolio created which can demonstrate their skills to industry professionals.
Students on this course are not expected to study Math's and English however this can be discussed at interview.
Students on this course are not required to have a placement however you will do projects with industry throughout the course and also work with other Esports corporations within the North East region.
During this course students will have the opportunity to work with The British Esports Association, helping run and organise games within their leagues.
During this course students will be expected to spend time completing assignments and projects during the course and also spend time studying essential skills where required.
Students will be on campus for a selection of days and will have lessons which will range in times from 9am - 5pm. Within this learners will have a range of lessons which will include Digital Lessons, English and Maths (where applicable) plus development of skills and behaviours for the Digital industries.
