You will be taught through a range of practical and theory classes, as well as learning in real working environments.
If You have not already achieved Level 4 or above in Math's and English, these sessions will be included as part of your timetable throughout the course.
There will be opportunities to take part in projects, events and outside catering with our external partners as part of your timetable.

The course will be delivered over 4 days per week.
The intent of the course is to help students to develop the behaviors, attitudes, and English and Math's skills needed for progression to ourLevel 2 Diploma in Culinary Skills course.
During this course, you will study modules such as:
- Food safety
- Health and safety in catering
- Healthier foods
- Costs and menu planning
- Preparing and cooking different foods

On completion of this course, you will have obtained the skills and knowledge required to progress to either a Level 2 Diploma in Culinary Skills course or a Level 2 Hospitality programme.
