This course is for those who have completed a Level 2 AAT Certificate in Accounting and would like to further their skills and career prospects in accounting and finance.
You must have completed the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting. You also need Level 2 qualifications in literacy and numeracy and be able to demonstrate basic IT skills.For students with English as a second language, you will need to provide IELTS cert.

You will attend classes for 6 hours per week, this can be 1 day per week or 2 evenings. The course is predominantly classroom based with five computer based assessments spread throughout the course.
You will be required to undertake a number of hours of self-study each week in your own time.
This course in part-time, with an option to attend classess during the day and an option to attend classess in the evening.
On completion of the course you can apply to the AAT to beome a licensed Bookkeeper. After successfully completing the course you could progress onto a Level 4 Professional Diploma in Accounting. You could expect to gain work in a number of accounting roles, which require an intermediate level qualification.
