You will learn the theory of motor vehicle diagnostics in the classroom and get practical knowledge in our workshop gaining workplace experience. You will be assessed through coursework and take an online test.
English and maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE maths and/or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
On this course you will learn key diagnostic procedures for: Vehicles and the associated systems engine, transmission, brakes, steering, electrical and how to inspect vehicles in compliance with VOSA standards.
After completing this course, students are well-prepared to step into a rewarding career as a light vehicle technician, working in garages or dealerships. This opens the door to advanced roles, including diagnostics and vehicle system management.
