What’s it all about?

This course is for anyone who would like to enhance their music technology skills and widen their knowledge of a range of areas in music.

You will learn from an award winning music team, with a combined 75 years of professional experience in the music industry. We will help you to develop skills in music performance and production, and you will be shown how to utilise these skills in planning for a career in the music industry.

Over the duration of the two years on the course, you will create a personal music profile or portfolio, and will learn how to use these materials for self-promotion and networking. You will collaborate on multiple live or studio music projects, undertaking undefined technical roles and developing your project as part of a team. We’ll take you from your classroom to the big stage!

You will need 4 GCSEs grade 4 or above, including English and a successful audition.

English and Maths are important life skills that will help you to achieve your best in your studies and progress to your dream career. If you have not already achieved grade 9-4 in GCSE Maths and/ or English at school, we will support you to improve your skills.
