Teaching will be classroom-based and you will be assessed via the completion of a workbook.
You should have a good standard of Maths and English to enrol on this course.
The course will be 1 day a week for 7 weeks.
Course times are between 9:30am to 3:30pm.
You will learn about self-employment opportunities in a given sector and understand what is meant by income and expenditure.
You will also learn about the social media channels available for business use.
Course modules include:
- Introduction to Self-Employment
- Personal Budgeting and Managing Money
- Understanding Social Media for Business
Another useful course you could study is Get Ready for the Office Level 1.
You could progress to the next level of courses such as AAT Bookkeeping Level 1 or IT Level 1.
